Our love of Cannabis began in the 1990’s, back in the days of marijuana prohibition, while attending college in the Pacific Northwest. Back in those dark days we met people in cars on random corners or headed to our “buddies” place to procure product, and then congregated with like minded individuals in smoking circles of various sizes.
The biggest and by far the best circles formed up at my friends’, who went by the nickname “Uncle Ando”, houses. He had a few different spots just off campus, but no matter where he went the good vibes and sweet smell of freshly smoked herb followed. The sessions were epic and were noted, not only for the kind buds, but also for their diversity. Male or Female if you smoked you made your way to Uncle Ando’s. It was not uncommon to run into members of the elite football or basketball teams, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, underclassmen, upperclassmen, hippies, bookworms, science geeks, jocks, professors, parents, exchange students, and Rastafarian’s of all ages, colors, and creed made their way into those circles.
The one commonality was everyone was respected, and everyone felt welcome and accepted, because that was how Uncle Ando rolled. He was one of the best people I’ve ever known, and the best times happened when he would break out his stash. Whenever he would he would always jokingly say “Welcome to Uncle Ando’s Wurld of Weed” while he would reveal what were invariably the best nuggs around, which he would generously pack for all those lucky enough to be around at the time.
Although Uncle Ando tragically left this world too soon. It is in his memory that we hope to recreate those good feelings in our retail experience by bringing you the best values on the best Cannabis products. If we are successful, then you too, will also smile whenever you think of Uncle Ando.
